Default Is a +40 offset okay to run

I'm looking at picking up a set of 18x8.5 and 18x10s running 255 40 18 and 285 35 18 I'm just curious on if the off set is too much should I run spacers and if 255s will fit up front

+40 will require a space in front, 255 wire front tire will require an even larger spacer
