One brake pad in the rear wheel was wearing out more
In my car, the mechanic noticed that one brake pad on the left rear wheel was wearing more than the others.
So, the entire brake caliper, rear brake pads, and rear brake hoses were replaced, along with the handbrake linkage.
Of course, the entire brake fluid system was also replaced.
Since it had been a year since the last oil change, the engine oil and oil filter were also replaced.
The air filters and cabin air filter were also replaced – I had hoped they would only need to be replaced every two years, but unfortunately, upon removing them, they were terribly dirty.
Since the multi-ribbed belt was too loose, it was replaced with a new one, as well as the belt tensioner and idler pulley.
These car repairs, i.e. parts and labor, cost me $670.

I changed the engine oil on February 13, 2024, and exactly one year later, on February 13, 2025.
Should the oil be changed more than once a year?

No, I change mine every 5k-7K miles. It just looked black. Mine is always dark amber. How many miles on your Crossfire and do you use synthetic 5W40 oil?

$670 for all of that work is very cheap. That’s a lot of labor and multiple systems (brakes, fluids, filters, and belt system). Normally it would cost noticeably more in most shops.

About the brake wear, lube the sliding rods/pins, this way the calipers 'float' and seek their own center. IF the parking brake is wearing uneven, make sure there is no parts hanging up & the brake is adjusted properly. Great that you did the services, looks like it was ignored for far too long!
