Any of my Canadain friends selling there USA light switch
I'm needing to swap out my US one for a Canadian one so I'd be willing to trade with you. I guess we'd both have to get a temporary one installed while the parts ship. PM me if you're interested.
I picked up a spare switch a few days ago but I have no idea if it is a canadian one with drls or not. The guage cluster was in Miles but the car was here in town with canadian plates...
If it has drl's i will keep to lend out,
Otherwise it will be for sale soon

I think the US switch has the part #193 545 00 04
Sparkie has a Canadian switch and he will tell us what the number is. I have had both in my possession and failed to note the numbers. DUMMY

oh.....also visiting our mutual friend Sylvia on the way home.....ouch!
I think the 01 number is a change to the basic part and the 04 an issue of the basic part. I'll check with the Mercedes numbering system.
Beware boring part coming up.
The 193 is the model this part was first used on, the Crossfire and also indicates it is a proprietary part. The "545" indicates it is part of the chassis/lighting system (?). "1" indicates this is the first version of this part,00 would be the original version, the "04" is the "part number" in the master listing, the fourth part.
The first version of the module is the US version 193 545 00 04, simple eh?

I think you mean 193 545 01 04, I did read the numbers on the switches I had but I forgot to write them down. 193 is the Mercedes number for the Crossfire.
