Brake pad Sensor Wire
While changing my front calipers, a front bolt stripped that held on the brake pad sensor wire. I see that it plugs into the wheelwell. So I just need to but a new wire. It's the wire that mounts to the brake caliper and has the brake pad sensor on it. Does anyone have one to sell or know where I can purchase it?
Sorta semi-highjack,
I was at a service center and they told me I needed rear brakes. I already knew this and have already purchased pads but I did not know this. They told me I had to replace the sensor at the same time - that the old sensor will not work after I change my pads. Is this true? I've already changed my front pads without changing the sensor. Do I need to put new sensors on the front as well?
And to mhajek18, it looks like you can get a new sensor at O'Reilly's:
