Hello all. Not sure what the actual name of this part is, so I am including a photo of it. It is the silver trim/panel above the front windshield. As you can see from my photo, mine is starting to deteriorate in certain places. Looking for one in better shape and simple instructions on how to replace.

Thank you
Unless you get lucky it would be cheaper to paint the one you have and make sure it is reattached properly or you will lose it.
I’m about to remove my front top window trim / garnish and replace. Have you refinished and reinstalled yours? I’m curious to know how difficult it is to remove and then replace. Is the piece flexible or does it damage easily? Thanks

Use a tool like a hard plastic puddy knife. Slide it under the trim molding from the windshield side. Gently pry up. Scary but it will come off fine. James
Be careful that top trip piece is nearly as rare as unicorn poop and costs $300 plus used.
Make sure it is securely mounted back on the car or you will be spending $300 plus.
