Default WTB Side Mirror Gaskets

I'm looking to replace the side mirror seals due to deterioration of the originals. Does anyone out there have a set in good condition ?

If you find any; lets us all know. I can use a new set also.

I was hoping there was a Mercedes Benz application that uses the same mirrors but no luck. Seems as though these mirrors are Crossfire specific , although the base sure looks familiar.

If you have a mirror off and there is a part number beginning with 193 then it is specific to the Crossfire and will not cross over to a Mercedes model.
Strange isn't it. It's a mirror, you would think that dozens of models would use the same thing. Pathetic really.

I don’t have the old pair in hand but that 193 sure sounds like the beginning of a Mercedes part #. You would think this would be a seal that is sold separately since they seem to have been failing not long after the cars were produced.

I’ll look and see if it’s stamped with a part # in the morning.

Here are the numbers on the side view mirror gaskets . . .

L: 41-2316-417

R: 41-2316-418

A Google search of those numbers does not return any relevant results.

I've been through this search for the side view mirror gaskets before. No luck. To get the gaskets, I've had to buy the whole side view mirror(s) when I see them on E-Bay with good gaskets. Then I try to resell the mirror(s) without the gaskets. Sorry, I have no better advice . . .

You are correct on both points., those are the part #’s and they’re pretty much useless.

That’s an expensive route to take but it seems like the only way to get new seals is to purchase new mirrors.

Hopefully someone will start reproducing new gaskets and headlight lenses but I’m not holding my breath on that one.
