all crossfires ecm's uses the vin of the car it is asigned to,, so if you get a spare one, you will have to have it reprogramed to your vin # some tunners can do that. most can not.

Get a new one as the early ones were poorly soldered and caused too much trouble. New ones go from about $130. Search online or look through the old posts for sources. Get the old one fixed and carry as a spare just in case you need it one day. I find if you carry a spare chances are you’ll never need it, it is the part you have no spares for that will fail.🙄
