Default WTB crossfire key

My blade and chip are fine but my case is crappy and the transmitter board is dead , anyone have a key from a crossfire gone by they'd part with that has a functional transmitter and a good/fair case? Shipping to Las Vegas , NV 89104 .

Thanks!

Needswings can sell you a new key for $324 and a second for $300. That is what they charged someone else lately. Them or SOS can do it, check it out.
Keys for the Crossfire are worth their weight in gold these days.

The FOB Cases seem to be hard to find these days. Six or more years ago, they were easy to find - just transplant the RFID and blade into them and you were good.

I check ebay , there used to be a locksmith selling some busted looking ones but I wanted to get a decent case as the aftermarket ones suck . They're not listed currently . The ebay option is $249 for a clone of an existing key or shitty replacement cases from all corners of the earth .Turns out red dog is selling me a virgin key into which I will transplant my chip and blade .

For about $250.00 SOS Diagnostics will sell you a brand new fully functioning key and FOB.

I got one of those ‘shitty’ cases, nothing wrong with it and I have had it ten years now. It snapped together so tightly that I never had to glue it, I got two at that time so I have a spare case.
I also have a barely used OEM fob safely stored in the local bank vault. 🙄

Glad it's working out for you. I've gone through three from different vendors, none of which would stay together during use and had to be glued, which made them unserviceable. I'm excited, my new key is out for delivery today!

I am a bit late with this answer but the OEM fob was glued together and thus unserviceable. Although what service you could do escapes me. Just do not glue the battery compartment.🙄
I cannot see your problem.
My replacement took considerable force to put the two halves together so I never glued them.

I don't see how it matters, local locksmiths CAN NOT make keys for our cars - not keys that START the car, that is.
The RFID chip is not something that can be duplicated easily - as we have seen over these past three years.

I totally realize that but there may be crucial info that the poster missed out.
I do not know why I bothered to answer this thread, I normally ignore this type of question.
I shall be more picky in future, we also have new experts who make errors in their replies or suggest replacing components that may not be the cause of the problem. I never say replace a part until it is proved to be wrong. Some find it easy to spend other people’s money.

Also someone had a go at me today for no apparent reason saying that I thought I was an expert on the Crossfire. I have never claimed that at all, my knowledge comes from the forum itself and common sense. Common sense seems to be in short supply these days. This person also added me to a list of Canadians he did not like, seems a bit racist to me. I asked him if all colours were included. I guess we have a good idea who he will vote for.

Well sir, for what it's worth, I for one respect your knowledge and opinion. My comment was to the OP, not you.

If you are meaning me, thanks.
I try to answer correctly and I can usually find earlier posts that have been made on the subject. My expertise is coming from what I have learnt here or common sense. Others often say there was an earlier post on the subject and I can often remember who it was or roughly when it was, this old dogs memory is still good.

OEM Key fobs are now available from Chrysler

i understand that Keys are also available from SOS. I would like to see an image of the SOS Key fob

These two images are of my like new 15 year old fob and the new Fob picked up last week.

even better, it works perfectly

Not a cheap solution but it works. No key no drive

These two images are of my like new 16-year-old fob and its 16-year-old twin in a 9-year-old replacement case.
