Where are the drivers?
Where are the drivers?
I kid you not. I'm in the middle of a roadtrip that started in Vegas, then to Savannah, and currently in Memphis. Other than another before I entered the Interstate in Vegas, I've seen only one Crossfire the whole trip (3.5k so far). It was a black one between Savannah and Macon.

I hardly see our cars. Very rare and my guess is they will become more rare in the future.
I used to never see any around my area but I am now noticing 2 in my area. The same cars 2 cars each day on the highway going to and from work.

Vegaslegal, Don't feel alone, just finished a trip to North Carolina. Saw one red X-Fire in Bryson City, N.C. You would think i would have seen a couple driving through Atlanta. If You ever make it to Orlando let us know, their are a few of us in the central Florida area.
Re: Where are the drivers?
I'm on the road everyday of the week, and can usually manage to see at least one a day....now the new camaro....I must see 5 a day....they are not rare....in fact....they are like mustangs now....you see one on every corner....it is rare to see more than one XF....and I drive 2500 miles a week on the average....whats rare, is to make a delivery out in the middle of no where and see a XF....but, being in an 18 wheeler, I can't talk to them, or stop usually....I have been seeing a lot of them in the Ft Wayne IN area, and definetly more in the Detroit to Toledo area....a few in Central IL.....not many in KY...but more in Cinncinati area...Ohio, seems to have more XF's roaming the interstates than the other midwest states I run in....
Re: Where are the drivers?
I think the reason why no one really sees them on cross country trips is simply from the fact that its not really used as a road trip vehicle by the bulk of the owners.
If you drive around an urban area, during rush hours, and lunch hour, you will most likely see a couple heading to and from work. If your traveling across Kansas at 10am on a Sunday morning, you most likely aren't going to see any.
Here in Colorado, I've been seeing a lot of Crossfires in North Boulder, and through Westminster/Arvada. Unfortunately, Bat's hasn't been one of them for the past 3+ weeks. (sigh).
Its all time and location related.
BC.

Re: Where are the drivers?
Just returned from a three thousand + trip from Knoxville to Austin and return and saw one XF near Dallas. Probably a lot more XFs around Yukon, OK as it used to be called (still is?) the "Used Car Capital of the World".
Agree with idea that XF is not considered as a long-distance vehicle for some reason. I've taken mine to Wilmington, NC. and Myrtle Bch. SC. before. Very comfortable. Great fun doing 90 on I-40 through the curves between TN. and NC. before leveling off at Harmon Den! Yeeee Haaaww!!
