yeah i guess that would make sense ops:
i first wanted to make sure that rear fog light was on the left side of the car, and secondly i wanted to know if there was any way i could go about getting that taillight assembly into New York; whether i call an aussie dealer or get some help from an aussie member of this forum -- i was also wanted to know a ballpark figure of what i was getting into. is it worth it ($200-300 US) or is it just outragoeus ($800-1000 US)
thanks again

G'day Rob,
I'm at work tonight and don't have the car with me, so I'm going by memory.
I think the fog light is on the right hand side at the rear (same position, opposite side to the reverse light). Your best bet is to check out what side it is on in the US... it's sure to be the same here. Nothing else has been switched, the steering column has just been put on the RHS but still has indicators on the left and the the hand brake is on the passenger side of the center console.... just like all european cars imported to australia
cheers,
brett

well thats the thing... US cars dont have a rear fog lamp; we have two reverse lamps. Ive been looking to replace my US-spec left-side taillight assembly with one that has a rear fog light in place of the reverse lamp. I know the UK has their fog lamp on the right side; i thought Australia might be on the left, like this picture...
