I get mine today!
I get mine today!
I get my brand new Silver sapphire Chrysler Crossfire today! Can't wait!
I will be sure to add lots of picture to my Album later today for you all to see.
I am really looking forward to becoming a member of this exclusive club.
While I am down at the dealer I will ask how much longer this 5000 discount is going to run for. With a bit of luck it may have stopped!
Dealer also told me yesterday that new cars don't need to be run in anymore. A few of my friends have also told me this. Any comments?

My thoughts on running in the engine:
Option one: if you lease it, who cares.
Option two: It cannot hurt. Manufacturers state their recommendations / preferences in the owner's manual. Sensibility comes into play here - don't redline the engine or drive at sustained high rpms.
Option three: Most DC mechanics will tell you that these motors will not need a run in period at all. Obviously if it goes bang, the ECU will likely mention how many times you have activated ABS and sat on the rev limiter, etc. Might add up to over-enthusastic driving evidence.
Where in the UK are you? Also great choice of colour!

Hi, Congratulations. We've had ours 2 weeks and still love it. We've done 800 miles already so we are holding back a little as the lease is 10k miles per year.
It is not a fast car, my Golf V5 company car is faster, but it looks a million dollars. We've had our windows tinted so it looks very mean!
We haven't run ours in, it needs a great deal of willpower.
You will love the HIFI it is really powerful.
Ours is an Auto in graphite with two-tone leather.
Have a great weekend.

To use a famous quote "I feel your pain."
I purchased my Crossfire on the 8th of July and I am still waiting. It sits in Benicia California waiting a ship. Because of security issues ships are having difficultly getting in and out of ports.
Scheduled to depart Benicia on the 17th and arrive in Inchon, Korea on the 5 September. Do you feel my pain?
