Default Help a Crossfire in Tennessee

https://nashville.craigslist.org/cto/5161723281.html

Jim was going to sell car, I found this add and explained the Forum help available

He would like to keep car and would drive it to Atlanta to Alabama and pay someone to go through it and then join us in Fontana

It's a nice looking car but has the following issues and we all know that most of them are minor to us!

Headlights and wing stay on and up

Erratic start-solder RCM I'm sure and CPS

He is not mechanical and his name is Jim Gillette 850-832-7324

Car has 50k on her and I think she should be saved!

pizza and Alex are pretty close if you guys want to come up I will drive down and help

He is located near Mt Eagle TN so we could make a road run that day

Will try to post pics he sent me

Yeah-I think, with a ton of work, and a bucket of cash, it might, repeat: MIGHT be salvageable.

What did it look like before the incident?

I wonder what it looks like right-side up?

LOL!

chturner is coming here (Auburn AL) next Thursday to work on his. Can you tow it that far?

LOL!

CPS... if you can peel potatoes and not cut yourself.. should be able to handle that.

These two I could see some help on..

Headlights on.. bad switch?
Spoiler..hmm.. LOL. Multitude of possibilities .. just Stuck.. motor.. limit switches .. dash lights for braking issues.. etc.

I was just pokin' fun-it looks really nice. I didn't intend to offend.

I only have one stall to work in my garage, and I think ct and I will be pretty busy-I'm trying to talk him into changing/flushing as many of his fluids as he can afford. Could be a long day for us.

There's some really great people on this forum-I hope one of them can help you soon. I also think if I promised away next weekend to help another xFire owner and work on his car, I'd be...up the creek...for a while.

Ok, talked to him just now. This sounds almost 100% like the Pump/Module in the trunk is drowned and this is the "lights stay on" and "key fob doesn't work" issue.

As to the mystical wing, well, we will get to THAT after we get the Pump/module working or replaced.

Dumb Question; flooded trunk/rear caused by detached window? That is our color & it looks really good when I stand on my head, lol, but we try to keep ours rubber side down. I'm no expert on anything, but this must be the coolest car forum ever!

If a couch in Knoxville in anyway helps, I can offer one.

I wish I knew. Water in the trunk of an SRT can be explained by the bad seal around the wing mounts.

In a Limited/Base/SE - I dont get it.
