The previous post did not post in a format that is easy to read. Anyone know the model number of our SC? It seems they are very efficient and are capable of high rpm's depending on the model. It seems the smaller the SC displacement the higher it will rev. If someone can post it in a more legible format that would be nice. Also our SC part number would allow a search that would be more accurate to our unit and whether stacking pulleys is safe or not. Thanks, Mark

Hello Mark,

Our SRT6 superchargers are / were made by a Japanese company called IHI. They are model IHI S105.

Best regards,
Bob

Sorry updated from original post...

Deciphering the data....please list a link if you have one.

Our SC is supposedly an IHI unit.
Its guestimated to be a 1.4-1.6L/rev unit.

The Lysholm 1600 is often used it implies 1.6L/rev - but doesn't show revs on the vertical lines - they have to be deduced - eg: 16m3/min at 10,000rpm would be 1.6L/rev at a PR of 1.
The IHI implies 1.4L/rev = 14m3/min = 14,000L/min at 10,000rpm
I believe 1.4L to be closer to our case.
Note: this 10,000rpm is pulley speed.
One of the rotors (right hand side - sitting in the car) travels at 5/3rds this speed.

If you want to do some calcs....
try the following for stock condition...

max rpm redline..................6200rpm........A
Crank Pulley........................155mm..........B
SC Pulley.............................74mm..........C
Pulley Ratio.........................2.09..............D= B/C
SC Revs @ redline................12,986.........E=DxA
Supercharger L/rev..................1.4...........F
Supercharger m3/min................18.2........G=ExF
Engine Intake every 2 revs.........3.2L.........H
Engine Volumetric Eff..............92.2%........I
Intake per min.at VE=0.922....9.1m3/min...J=H*A/2/1000*I
Pressure Ratio........................1.99..........K=G/J
Corresponding psi..................14.5...........L=K*14.7-14.7

Plotted on the IHI chart...the SC is pretty much maxed out (at redline)...ie: if this is the correct chart.
I say this because people have shown it capable of 181/65 = >20psi - see other attach of alternate calc to above.

Note the vol. eff of the SC at 13,000rpm and the higher PR is >95% - hence the almost vertical line.

I state again - this SC speed is the 5 lobe pulley driven rotor.
The other rotor, the 3 lobe rotor is spun up via the front internal SC gear box to a ratio of 5/3
So 12,986 becomes 21,643rpm for the 3 lobe rotor
....and for the 181/65 case...17,265 becomes 28,774rpm for the 3 lobe rotor
