Hey Doug. I've been coordinating most of our events and gatherings the past couple of years. Take a look at the info a couple of items above in this thread. There's a list of tentative plans for the year. Feel free to PM me and provide your email and I'll add you to the distribution list. We also have a Facebook page. Welcome to the group. Thanks, Paul

Hey Crossfire people. Just wondering who is going on the museum cruise in April? If so, where are you meeting up?

Hi 1slosrt,

We've had little interest from our members in going in April. There are only 2 of us that have said we would intend to go. I'm going to send out one more email blast to my distribution list to see if others will commit to going. If you provide your email to me, I'll add you to our list. You can PM me your info so you can receive future updates directly. We have a number of other things going on I can let you know about as well. If we end up going to the Museum in April, I'll send out full details to everyone.

Are you in Maryland? If so Where?

Thanks, Paul

Car is at shop, trying to get top fixed. They had to order parts while I'm out in Dallas.

Would you mind posting your response? In January Chrysler replaced my top for free but I have been having problems ever since with the installation! Thanks

At this time, I only have 2 confirmed and 2 possible, with one other initially confirmed but haven't heard back since January. I'm likely to try to pick an alternate date in May or June and then stick with it regardless of our numbers. Alternatively, if there's just a few of us, we could just do a day trip up and back on Sunday the 17th. Let me know if you are available on the 17th for a day trip. I'm open to it.

Quick question for DMV area. I'm thinking of getting lowering springs, who's using them, what brand? Also, any crossfire friendly shops anyone can recommend?

Knock on wood, I've only had my car in twice. The rest I've done myself. However, I recently took it in for soft brakes. I went to an independent in Rockville. German Motor Works. They had a lot of high end cars there. The shop is tucked away in the industrial section but got good customer reviews so I chanced it. They did right by me. They work on Crossfires and know what they are! If I need to do some work I can't or don't want to do, I'd likely go there again.

As far as springs, I can't help you there. Mine are stock and likely to stay stock for now. Our Maryland Thread is long in the tooth but someone might chime in. I'd suggest just doing a good search here on the forum for info though. You'll likely end up with a lot of info and good suggestions.

BTW, can you meet up with a few of us at the Olney Cars and Coffee next week (23td) I sent an email around but haven't heard back from you yet.

Thanks, Paul

Just completed my membership this weekend. I've been on this site since at least 2008 and purchased my XFire new then also, should have joined a long time ago.

Welcome. See you next Friday. I'll be posting via email final plans for the cruise to Carlisle. Right now it's only you, Doug and I confirmed to head up at 11 from Mount Airy. There may be a few others that weigh in between now and then but if not, we're good to go on our own.

Thanks, Paul
