List of resettable Crossfire features

Keep a copy in the glove box.

The throttle body reset

1. Get in your car
2. Turn the key to the on (not start) position, the position just before the starter
turns over.
3. Press the gas pedal to the floor with the key in the "on" position.
4. Hold the pedal to the floor for five seconds, then turn the key back
to the "off" position (don't remove the key), then release the gas
pedal.
5. Wait 2 minutes for a full alignment.
6. Drive the car as you always do.

Disabling the seat belt warning chime

1. Turn the key to ON/START - within 60 seconds, turn ignition OFF and fasten the driver seat belt.
2. Start engine and wait for the seat belt light to turn off.
3. Within 60 seconds unbuckle and rebuckle the seat belt 3 times - ending with it buckled, you will hear a single chime (sometimes this verification chime is slightly different just the same it works to disable the chime).
The chime confirms you have turned the repeater chimes off. Repeat the sequence or disconnect the battery to restore the reminder function.

Disconnecting the battery will reset the chime and you'll have to do it again!

Resetting the FSS setting after changing the oil

1. Move the ignition switch to the “RUN” position.
2. Within 4 seconds of moving the ignition switch into the
“RUN” position, press the reset button for the trip odometer
twice within one second. The display for the FSS service
request is activated for 10 seconds
3. During the 10 seconds the FSS service request is displayed,
move the ignition switch to the “OFF” position.
The FSS service request will continue to be displayed.
4. Press the reset button for the trip odometer and
hold.
5. Move the ignition switch to the “RUN” position
6. Continue to press and hold the reset button for the trip
odometer (about 10 seconds) until the audible signal
sounds and the new start distance appears in the display.
The tool symbol should disappear at this time.

Programming the fob for one or two doors to open with one press

The fob can be programmed to open the drivers door only with one press and the passenger door and trunk with two presses. Or, open both doors and the trunk with one press.
Instructions to change the programming you have now.

Press both lock and unlock buttons at the same time and hold them down until the red light at the top of the key fob blinks twice. Repeat this operation and the change to the programming is undone.

Disconnecting the battery will reset the chime to the default setting which is opening the drivers door only with one press.

Fob programming with a new fob or after battery changes

1. Press either the lock or unlock button momentarily twice.
2. Turn the key in the ignition switch to the ON/RUN position within 30 seconds.

Setting the clock on the dash

To adjust the time display, turn the key in the ignition switch to the ON/RUN position.
The ****/button to the left of the clock is used to change the time.

Thanks very much, I just printed these out. You don't get enough credit for the effort you put into this forum. This will save me much search time as my old brain just can't retain all that info. There is so much info in there now, I have to forget something in order to learn anything new! LOL

Funny thing is after taking the battery leads off so many times I think my lite only came on once. I just backed down the drive onto the street and it went out.

Thanks for taking the time to do this. You don't know how much time I have devoted to searching for these procedures over the years. You have made many members very happy!

Seat belt chime.. there is no need for a "warm up procedure"... merely start the car with seatbelt buckled and follow procedure.

Thanks, when it is proven to be all correct I'll turn it into a PDF.

If I remember right, when I got mine the doors would not lock when you start driving. I did something and the doors lock when you hit something like 7 mph?

Thanks for this, I have added it to the PDF. and this post.

This action will automatically lock the car at 9mph (15kph).
With the key in the ON position, press the interior lock button upper portion for 5 seconds.
Or to deactivate this feature press the lower portion of the switch for 5 seconds with the key in the 'ON' position.

You should see blue coupes repainted interior. It's as good as new, the color match is perfect.

I have:it's beautiful!

I'm just not sure it's worth my time/effort to do that. I think, when the time comes, I'll just buff it up, do what I can to make the interior look AGAP, and sell it on...
