I noticed FP's ebay links on the chromed wheels from LA Wheel. The price isn't bad. Deposit is steep but I guess they have to protect themselves. Has anyone bought from them? Looking at a Father's Day present.

I bought a set from them last year. The wheels were shipped in double boxes with adequate packing material. The chrome plating on the wheels was very nice, I didn't expect the chrome to be near flawless.

The only thing that wasn't mentioned to me was that the center cap is a Asian aftermarket part and that they did not come with any emblem. So far the chrome on the cap has held up well. Anyway, get a set of Crossfire emblems from Andrew, that will finish the center caps and wheels off real nice.

I have had some bad experiences with chrome parts from China in the past, maybe they have improved. The center caps were my only concern and is still my only concern. As always time will tell.

Well, I took the plunge and purchased the wheels. Should get them in about a week or so. I like the OEM rim style so the chrome should look REALLY nice on my car!

 

Congrats, I also think the OEM's are the best looking wheels on this car. Show some pictures when you get them installed.
