At least you are honest saying it needs fixing up or you are going the wrong way to sell a car.

Doesnt need fixing... Just stating that driving a sportscar as my primary vehicle
On roads covered in snow and black ice because each nj town does NOT plow consistently can prove to be a nail biting experience especially when the snow cones up to the door. Ps you are right- i need to post in classifieds

LOL.....I know what you mean. Most of the time on here you only see the problems people are having with their cars. But that isn't the case. The majority have had really good luck with their cars, and you may own one of them. Don't get down on your car because you read these posts. I mod mine a lot, but the only problems I have had was an Intake Temp Sensor which had a broken prong, and the Crankshaft Position Sensor. I have yet to do anything else to either car, not even the dreaded RCM. Roadster is nearing 40K and the coupe 30K. They are great cars, and safe cars, proven time and time again.
Do what I did. I bought an ole' Tahoe (The Hoe) and a little Suzuki 4 wheel drive to get me around in the winter. I have about 10K invested in 2 4 wheel drives. Cheaper than buying a new DD.

Man, that's everywhere. If the car isn't quite meeting your standards, or whatever you wanna call it... Unload it and buy an SRT-6.

Yeah, they go much better in the ice and snow.

I agree with doc. I wouldn't dream of taking my XF out in the Vt. winter. Way too much snow and salt. I picked up a Honda CRV for that. That thing is a winter mochine.

I have a heater thingey that screws on to a propane bottle.
$20 for a refill, and one lasts me all winter.
It will heat my garage/workshop to about 55 when it's freezing outside.
( and no stink like my old kerosene heater )

I keep my wick clean to minimize the stink.............no worries about co2 poisoning.

Always, always keep your wick clean.
I think the gas given off is carbon monoxide, not carbon dioxide.

Why bother. If your heater is on, you'll never get to see them.
