As far as a cruise night or car show, I think that you'll find a lot of people who will be interested in your car. Be prepared to answer some questions about it.
Bring some micro fiber towels and something like McGuires show and shine. Just to get the dust off and make it look nice. I usually display my car with the hood up so people can see my engine. I also like it better with the top down so they can see the interior. The main thing is just to relax and enjoy the cars and the people. Most people at events are friendly.
