Unhappy MAP Sensor Gremlin at Idle?

I guess I have never throughly discussed in my other thread what my computer keeps telling the dealership is a MAP sensor problem. My car has been having this problem since July 3rd, and the dealership hasn't been able to track it down. Here are the symptoms:

June 5th, morning: I started it up, and it bucked wildly, absolutely non-responsive to the throttle. It took about 45 seconds to get out of my driveway in reverse. Once out of the driveway and in drive, the car would reluctlantly get over 1000RPMS. I was thinking "Bad Gas" from the seldom-used premium pump on the corner of Tinker AFB. I was able to do fine once getting the car over 1000RPMs. No CEL.

June 5th, lunch: the car had the CEL, stuttered at low rpms, and it was difficult to get over 1000RPMs. I barely backed out of my parking spot, and took it into the dealership.

July 3rd, Lunch: The steering wheel is back in the car, see THIS THREAD. I am told the car is ready, all it needed was a new ECU. I start the car, see the CEL is back on, and pull it back in to the service drive-through 20 feet away.

July 3rd, after work: I go to the dealership to get my loaner vehicle, and see my car parked in the drive-through bay. My service advisor says that the MAP's contacts were cleaned and reseated. I take the car home, happy.

July7th, after work:
The car stutters again when giving it gas at 500RPM. It is nearly non-responsive to the throttle. No CEL. It drives fine for the next 20 miles. I stop in to pick up take-out Pei-Wei, and when I return to the car, the CEL is on again, but the car drives fine.

July 10, evening:
The service advisor calls me to say my mechanic is going to talk to a Chrysler mechanic tomorrow.

July 11th 9:30PM: I still haven't received a call about the chat with the Chrysler mechanic.

Has anyone experienced stuttering problems like this at idle? Can anyone recommend a diagnostic or solution? The car has always had what sounds like an exhaust leak. Would a (excuse my mechanical ignorance) broken idle air control valve cause funny sounds and problems like this?

Any and all help is appreciated.
