Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaait a minute. Did you read all the steps? I mean, read them as if your key DID turn! There is a bolt you have to loosen and you slide the collar it keeps tight (the bolt keeps tight) and under that collar is, I THINK, where the pin is. Hard for me to remember, since it's been over a year, but if you remove that collar, you will see the pin.

Others can correct me if I am wrong, but I am sure that is how it looks in the pictures - you have to read the steps you skip over, so you know what to do!
Notice how, in the picture under "Key Won't Turn", the bold is loose as is the collar!!!
