My key stopped working today. It won't turn. The steering wheel isn't locked. I tried my backup key and it won't turn the lock/unlock ignition cylinder too. I think the assembly has failed. Has anyone experienced this issue, and if so, please tell me I can replace something that doesn't require new(very expensive) keys. Thanks in advance!

Go to
TSBs and How-To Articles, the second sticky thread is on "Sticky Ignition Key". All you need are a few basic tools and about 1 1/2 hours of time to fix this and you are set for the life of the car.
Or, go to a dealership and have the lock replaced for around $500 and the problem will come back in about three years.
