It's often called a complete side wall blow out. But in reality, their stiff side wall folds under the rim, and as it spins, it shreds the side wall.
It happens more often on Base Cars since they don't come with a sending unit for tire pressure. Or to cars whose battery sending unite isn't working proerly.Message - CrossfireForum.org Gallery
My TPMS was working fine and I check the pressure manually regularly. My blowout were right along the seam. Goodyear, where I bought the tire, issued a refund on the second tire after I got loud in front of other customers. They called it a batch defect.
