Yeah it did .. Was on my way to work. A salvage yard was about 400 yards down the street. "Yeah we've got a 99 SLK230 sitting out there towards the back with the wheels in the trunk.. 400 yards back to the car with the wheel to wait on my buddy to go get a tire mounted. Fun Wednesday. But at least after I find a replacement OEM I'll have a spare for when the plug kit wont work. 16" wheel with a god knows what size tire.. "give me that one" kinda thing.. LOL.

If the wheel is still streight, both the wheel and tire can be repaired

While waiting on my buddy that thought came to mind.. and walked back down the road looking for my chunk of wheel.. "just in case".. didn't find it, but after getting the OEM in his truck, noticed it bulged the wheel around the penetration about 1/4" and you can feel where it pulled the outer lip in about 1/16" in a 2" area around the edge. So I'd say the wife has a new outdoor flower pot..
