The dealerships do what the service manual tells them, but had you shown up before committing to them, I'd tell you to print out our "Stick Ignition Key Fix" and take it to a local shop you trust. MOST ANY garage guy can do the work based on our tutorial. At around $100 an hour, I'd expect to pay $150 or so for them to fix it.

No parts needed, just the mechanic's time.
