What time you going to be there?

Paul - I had Mister Tire do rear brakes and they have made noise ever since when moving to and from a stopped position - don't think they lubed the backs of the pads and keep meaning to pull them and do that but I have no place to work on it anymore. I did the front pads myself - no big deal - just could NOT get the rotor off and don''t have a puller, but they were in excellent shape still, so left them and just did the pads. Had no issues. And I'm at 95,000 miles now.

Jason - what hardware are you talking about needing replaced each time?

1966 fury, white body, black top, red interior. usually sitting by the entrance where the movie theater sign is. should be there between 5 and 6. going to stay for an hour or so. long enough to pass out our flyers. I can only look at the same 112, 1969 SS camaros that show up every week, for so long until i get bored.

The rear brake hardware is a set of pins and shims that keep tension on the pads. the front is a heavy gauge wire that attaches to the caliper also keeping tension on the pads. they are only like $10 a kit from the parts stores. the shop manual recomends replacing them every time. if they were not broken when the new pads were put on, you should be ok. just remember next time for sure.
