Never autoXing is your problem

Check it out, very fun time with virtually no risk to your car except burning through tires
You generally stay in second pretty much the whole time because the course is small and very technical, sometimes hitting third, but there is so much turning and sliding, you can get thrown around your cockpit, so you use the dead pedal to steady yourself and put your weight into, works very well.
