I have heard of some people getting 40,000 miles out of a set of tires. But they are very conservative drivers and they must buy the RIGHT tire.
In this case, that tire won't be a performance tire. If you are a "Sunday Driver" then you'd be fine.

So many of the rest of us drive the car (even to work) taking every turn hard and leaving rubber everywhere. SOME of us get only 10,000 miles from their tires!
