But out of thousands of posts, and threads on here, dealing with exactly what you are talking about since 2004, don't you think there would be more about turbo/sc'ing the N/A's? Reading thru those threads you will find many dead ends on what they thought were easy paths to hp. AS for faster ricers cars, they have a ton of money in the one's that are fast. Dollar to HP, the XF is a steal in anyone's market. So, as an old guy on here, who has owned many cars, I'm only left with, put up or shut up. But, if you want to be friends, you need to take a step back, and read your own smart *** posts before calling us out...
just to rustle the feathers a tad bit more, all i see in this thread is a large quantity of men who are making it a point to say "can't be done kid" / "been there done that" / "it aint gonna happen". just as you all state that i do not know you, well it works the same both ways, none of you know me. what i state is based on facts, and the facts are that aside from factory forced induction no one has Turbo'd or Supercharged an N/A with great results. Now here is where i put my many years of building, working and driving cars into the equation. unless there is a magical portal in this car somewhere that does not allow for modification aside from the factory base, then it CAN be done. Time and Money are the main factors in that happening, or in my case willing people. i happen to not care what everyone else has done, because results happen through trials. i commend Corky for his Turbocharged Endeavors ( i never stated anything against him) and may he produce the best bang for buck kit out there, i however do intend to build a kit for everyone else, i intend to do it for me. None of you are going to sit and tell me that with a Standalone ECU, a Decent Centrifugal Supercharger and some hours on the dyno this car won't make lets say 350WHP, you just won't, because at that point your basically saying that anyone who has ever tried to force induce a vehicle is wrong. Its a Car People.
That is an empty space for all of the rebuttals and insults and statements on how i know nothing, and will accomplish even less. I'm sure JHM2K will fill that space likkity split with a clever quip, or an indirect sarcastic poke at me. go ahead rejoice
