Aware that ANY post I make will give you the satisfaction of being right, I'll simply say this:

If you come here thirsty for advice and willing to lean on the trial/error of those who have gone before you, we will be more than happy to help. In 2006 I entered this forum not knowing squat about European cars... let alone tuning them. Many patient people, hours of wrenching & racing, and thousands of searches have given me a vast (but still malleable) knowledge on the subject. Always be willing to learn and even more willing to say "I'm wrong".

If you come on here with no credibility and tenure, telling us that we lack the ***** to mod these cars properly, and inform us all that the only thing standing between you and a turbo Crossfire is a tax refund -- we will laugh you out of the playhouse.

I'm sarcastic and jaded to newbies, but not vindictive. If you'll man up and admit that you have a lot to learn, I'll bury the hatchet and buy you a beer at the next meet. Web3.0 has been trying for over a year to successfully turbocharge/Rotrex a Limited. And he has had many breakthroughs, you'd be wise to spend some hours gleaning information from that thread. It will save you time, money, and credibility. But even with all of his advances, it's still not factory-perfect. And if anyone has the talent and the know-how, it's him.

My suggestion -- wait a few months. By the time the tax return comes back, you can buy the BEGi kit (which, hopefully will be on the market by then) and tweak the boost. MUCH easier than starting from scorched earth and expecting a success story.

Regards,

--John
