I suggest that you take the time to re-read the ignition key fix if you have read it all ready or read it for the first time if you have not. You will learn that once it is fixed it will not fail again. You still need the key to be turned before you press the button or nothing will work.

The fix does not put the key system back to the set up where the locking key problem occurs, unless you replace the parts that are prone to failure but why would you do that?

But maybe you know more than anyone else here.
