Here's an idea... MORE color choices for CAN Bus compatible bulbs of all types. There are limited colors available at the moment. Most standard LED bulbs on the market seem to be iffy at best when dealing with automotive voltages. I had to replace a few in my dash already due to them burning out. The newer ones I received (from the same company) had larger resistors and diodes inside the semi-clear lower housing, so maybe someone was paying attention that designed them. There was a post that you need a stable 12 VDC to keep the LED bulbs healthy, usually requiring a 12 VDC regulator, but to me that sounds as if they were not engineered properly to begin with.

So far I only find Amber, Red and White in the CAN Bus Compatible LED bulbs. Granted these are usually on the exterior and that's the main market, but I use UV on the corner markers in my headlight lenses.
