There are 6 on eBay
I know how rare they can be so I have a spare for my roadster
I did not drill down to see if the ones listed are for roadster or coupe

Thanks!
I will look them up and see!
When I have a successful replacement, I will open up my original unit, and see
A. What the F is going on with it.
B. How it can be modified for a much cheaper light that is easier, quicker and cheaper to change out, and can be done in 1 minute by the side of the road.

I think this particular light is the perfect example of WHY YOU SHOULD NOT use LED"s in ANY application, unless they are DIRECT REPLACEMENT, PLUG AND PLAY, INSTALL AND FORGET.

All I read in here are "YEAH, USE LED'S!

Then they get into splicing wires, adding resistors, figuring out the resisters you have to add, etc, etc. By the time you are done, you will have a Crossfire with electrical problems, no applicable wiring diagrams that work because everything has been fiddled with, and a car that can't be corrected unless you tear out harnesses and replace them with NEW harnesses, and straighten all the botch work out that was done by previous owners.

WHAT A MESS! You guys are all nuts!.

I confess that MY goal is to get rid of the botch engineering, replace it with lights that are cheap and that work, and end any problem with the car for the future. Just my opinion. Others may vary.

Early posts point to 04 Coupe
There are several affordable 3rd brake lights posted on eBay for coupe

Just my experience but sometimes it’s cheaper to buy the complete deck lid or complete hatch rather than attempting to source specific parts.

I have the 2004 Coupe. I REALLY Love the car, but stuff like this is pretty annoying. I didn't realize there were some of these light bars available on Ebay, so I am going to explore that option. I'll do something with it, I have to because of the ticket, but I'll get over my grumpiness, too!

Regarding replacement LED headlights: here's my experience and conclusion.

I got tired of regular bulbs blowing frequently on the wife's 2014 Forester, so last fall I bought a reasonably priced pair of Chinese LED bulbs that had good reviews on Amazon.

Surprise LED headlight finding: Each bulb has an external transformer that must be attached close to the headlight assembly due to the length of the connecting wires. The product posting didn't mention that detail. Thankfully there were some nearby braces that worked, though I had to substitute my own cable ties to attach them, as the ones included in the package were way too small.

That said, these LED bulbs have been working great, but I just checked Amazon and found that they're no longer available via the original product link from my order.

What about using LEDs in my Crossfire? I am not going there. Having changed way too many H7 bulbs in my Crossfire, I do not think that I can easily fit those bulbs in the confined space without taking off a wheel and using the access panel. I am also not sure that the bulb will fit in socket due to the bulb's thick base.

Yes, I found one for my Coupe. Says it has been tested and works, so I will rely on that. Already bought it, and will fiddle this coming week with opening up the trim around the deck lid to see just how it comes out. I won't try to change it until the new one arrives. I'll report back when this whole thing is over with.
Thanks, everyone, for the suggestions!

I'm new to this forum
And just bought an 08 Roadster and just wondering can the led h7s be used for high and low beam and am I correct in reading that less elsewhere will work without Resistors except for the warning light?
Thank you to all for your friendly advice
