About 8 months ago I was having a problem with my car shutting down while driving. It wouldn't make any noises while trying to start it. It ended up being the crankshaft sensor.
About a week ago I was on the freeway going about 70 and my car felt like it had shut down and then kicked back on but It didn't actually shut down to where I had to pull over and then last night I was driving around town and I stopped at the store and when I came back out to my car it wouldn't start. It wasn't making any noises at all, it wasn't trying to start or anything but my lights and radio would come on. I kept trying to start it about about 45 minutes of sitting there it finally came on and I drove it home and it started just fine this morning. I just put a new battery in about 5 months ago. Could this be the crankshaft sensor going out again??? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
