I might offer that the SLK was designed for the autobahn (80-120mph), not the Crosfire. Even with the SRT, the problem is keeping the back end connected. There's not much weight back there and they swing around easily..

Fact is the crossfires were designed for the autobahn just like the SLK. Mechanically it is the same car!
As for the back end... that is why there are pop up spoilers just like Audi and Porsche. To help push the rear end down at high speeds.
