Larry, its HERO's like this (quiet, don't like discussing things they saw/did) who many miss until someone mentions it in an obit or note on a major news channel. In my opinion the news should be good stuff and not the bad stuff that seems to make everyone experience a little schadenfreude. I don't think the news will ever change though... In my college english many years ago, I did a 15 minute presentation on the Doolittle Raid of Tokyo, cannot tell you all the kids (they were fresh out of high school I was the OLD guy there) that came up to me after the class was over to inquire more, they shocked me with their curiosity, truely enlightening, their (and my) reaction left me with quite an impression. It left me with a feeling the youth of today (actually early 90's, ooops I dated myself) is on track and the news is just full of the bad ones mostly. Also, that what they teach in schools just sometimes isn't on mark...
