Everything I have read is different than these instructions. It is interesting the way they have done it. ChuckNorris says he also has instructions that are a little different. It would be interesting to read them as well. Would you mind looking at page 30 and tell me what you think the little brass fitting and hose that goes into the oil filler might be for. I was thinking this might be a good place for my return oil line from the turbo. What do you think?
My car is visiting the fabricator this weekend for some measuring.
Well it's dark when I get home.. so tomorrow at lunch I'll pull the cover and see where it runs to. Couldn't find anything in the service manual.
Are you thinking of tapping into the oil pan for supply.. ? Just wondering about longgevity of the system with "unfiltered" oil..unless you incorporated some type of mini filter system.. Just some thoughts..
Oh.. sportsters do have a nice chrome spin on filter! LOL.
Might be worth checking into..
