When starting from a dead stop when cold, it seems to hesitate just a bit with light throttle, but that clears up when it warms up. Is that typical of these?

Can anyone recommend a good independent MBZ shop here in SD? Everyone I've checked out online has a real mix of "they're wonderful" and "they're awful" reviews.
