I was looking at the very same setup Monday night.. just don't have android device..

OP.. guessing it came with the usb driver.. you should at least be able to hook up to OBD.. turn on ignition..plug usb in.. and computer recognize new device installed.. otherwise I'd have to wonder about a bad cable...
