Nope.. I own one so there's nothing to defend.
It's a great car... has been trouble free outside of standard maintenance since bought brand new from the show room floor in Nov. 1990.
I've replaced one rear bearing in 165K miles
It's my way of defending the right to choose your options without someone telling you what a piece of crap it is because it doesn't suite "their" needs.
Seems to be a slight outbreak of that every now and then, and every now and then a reality check of "your way isn't the best way for everyone" is needed.

In thread review.. Yahoo groups member on the Miata at one point. A member used to **** a Porsche off on the morning commute as he could out corner him. Guess those that really know.. know.
