Pressing the top down button with the windows up and the top locked will NOT lower the windows. You must momentarily press the top switch in the down direction for about 1/2 sec, then release, then press and hold. Same for windows up.
Do your windows go down if you unlatch the top with the ignition on ? ( They should, if they don't, then check the front bow switch that is on the right hand latch assembly )
