I agree, with Dave, maybe officiers and advisors only on monthly basis.

As far as media usage, it is hard to keep up with but I can say I use the Forum regularly and that's generally my preferred social media access point ........because I also peruse the other threads for information while I'm on here. I always find something new.

One concept I thnk we should explore furthre is the simple use of email. Seems to me we all check our email regularly while visits to the forum, facebook and CICCI are less frequent for many of our members. A once a month club email, which could also be copied and pasted with ease to the other media, would be welcome on my part. We could send out the upcoming events, any other news, meeting info, cruises, etc. all in one mail to people who are members and friends of the Club (if elected to recieve them) and cover everyone without having to worry about who is visiting which social media outlet. Yes, I know people are inundated by emails but I still like this idea. Consolidation of info, direct to our inbox, not having to go visit several outlets and also direct lines of communication member to member. Just my 2 cents, for now.

Not a complaint, just a suggestion.
Ok, as a non-board member I will throw in my 2 cents and hope other club folks do also.
First, maybe bi- monthly meetings during the season may be enough.... But if we aren't expected to be there it won't really affect us.
I like the idea of a once a month email, like a club news letter with updates. That could also include links to other info, fliers, etc and be handy for people who may still resist Facebook or other social sites. Email would help validate the club, seems more personal and hopefully keeps people interested with out chasing the info on multiple sites.
