Easiest way would be to look for a diagram in the service manual which you can find on here. Then adjust the alternator and have that pushed all the way into the engine. Put on the belt and then adjust the alternator back out until the belt is tight. It's harder than it sounds, I had to do it for a friend on his MR2, in the dark.
YOU DO NOT 'ADJUST' THE ALTERNATOR, IT HAS NO ADJUSTMENT.
You just relieve the tension on the tensioner pulley with a 17 mm socket and pull handle on the extruded boss on the tensioner assembly, put the belt on according to the diagram, then release the tension. ( this is for an N/A engine, I think the SRT6 is different )
The belt came off for a reason, this hardly EVER happens by itself.
It is usually due to fluid on the belt.
Clean up the belt and all the pulleys before reinstalling it.
