Let us know how it works out, but you have got to get to the tweeter wiring now. I suspect that the wires come into the door, go to the tweeter then jump to the midrange speaker. If so, you've got to take the door apart.

Then, see below.


The capacitor blocks low frequencies to both speakers on the left, but only to the tweeter on the right, because the feed from the amp can (on the right) get to the midrange speaker without flowing thru the capacitor.

But again, I think you will need to take the door apart to make this happen.
