I hear you! It amazes me what some folks are doing to their cars, lowering them and tilting the tire in (negative camber) on expensive tires for the looks and just replacing the tires at $400 bucks a peice!

Rets, I think you missed Dave's point.
He is saying, and I agree " depending on a tire sidewall surface to be always in exactly alignment with the rim itself is not a good thing "
I can see strapping the rig on by using the tire, but the rig should have 4 points that are touching the rim.
