Those are great! Where did you go to have it done, and what did they charge?
Thanks for sharing.

I did it myself, I live in Tennessee and my buddy just put in a new aligner, I took the opportunity to train using my car!

She did not need a camber kit so rear and front toe was a breeze, any shop that has up to date equipment can do this in less then 10-20 min, if no parts or camber kits required like mine it should not cost you more then $69

If you live near Nashville let me know I can hook you up!

I'm doing another training class next week on Thursday

Unfortunately, about the only time I ever make it to Tenn. I'm at the Dragon. But thanks for the offer.

I have driven down the road and seen peoples tires running out of alignment to the rims. It seems to me that this would not work out too good in those conditions.

Tires are not too great sometimes and are way out of round etc. and sometimes are poorly mounted and are not up to the lip evenly. Also they have may have been slammed into a curb.

I hear you! It amazes me what some folks are doing to their cars, lowering them and tilting the tire in (negative camber) on expensive tires for the looks and just replacing the tires at $400 bucks a peice!

I don't mind it keeps me in business

I like my side hugging the road safe and fun!

Top down

Rets, I think you missed Dave's point.
He is saying, and I agree " depending on a tire sidewall surface to be always in exactly alignment with the rim itself is not a good thing "

I can see strapping the rig on by using the tire, but the rig should have 4 points that are touching the rim.

I didn't think that was for appearance (I mean, who could perceive it with the eye???) but for stability in corners.

Or do you mean like THIS?

I don't disagree, I tested mine from both points of contacts, rims 4 points and then the new tire contacts and both gave me the same readings, I just put on 4 new tires and the toe was out, I'm not into track so I set mine up stock.

Bottom line I'm running straight and loving it!

Love the pic posted good example of what I was referring to, not my thing.
