I kept mine connected. I can't even hear them after installation of these much more efficient (louder) speakers. The tweeters are swivel-mounted to point them UP directed at ones head. Where the ears are located. Work great!
So does our stock amp wire directly to the door speakers and directly to the tweeters or only to the door speakers which then have a crossover connected to the tweeters?
