The PCM (PTCM) uses inputs from the Camshaft Position Sensor, Crankshaft Position Sensor, Knock Sensors, Engine

in the engine compartment within the Control Module Box.

I'd start with the crankshaft sensor, then the camshaft sensor, then the (God forbid ) PTCM.
Thinking about it a bit more, the crank sensor is just a reluctance pickup ( no electronic parts ) whereas the camshaft sensor is a Hall-effect device. Since this all started with a battery jump ( read VOLTAGE SPIKE ), I'd start with the camshaft sensor.

NOTE TO SELF : Don't offer any jumps from the Crossfire .......
180 doesn't believe in "coincidence" ..

but I believe if that is oem crank sensor.. it's cheaper and more common of a failure, and changing it out won't hurt- and will eliminate a most likely future issue.
