Bottom line I am not racing at the track. It is just a street car so I am not concerned about the very very small gain or loss.
Wife has had me add the tune.. then the 74mm...and now she is at this intake.. She's enjoyed the car more each step of the way.."if"" there is any loss due to warmer thinner air..I'd have to say the free flowing air offsets it. Torque Pro reads intake temps no worse than stock setup.. That plastic chunk on top is where the "warm air" hotter temps come from. I was running one HA tube and stock on the other side..and temps were down about 20 degrees from stock setup.. majority of air was being pulled in through the free flowing side and keeping the plastic cooler. All we need is a fiberglass U to replace that box and I have no doubt temps would be back down below stock and free flowing..

Added Bonus.. Wife loves the way it sounds under the hood now..
