roadster is. I did not know that real roadsters have no top or side windows, at least according to the purist. According to them we have 2 seat convertibles and being in the 21st century doesn't excuse such modern inventions as tops and side windows.
I posted a link to the MB SLK web page that refers to the car as a Roadster and the fact that our cars were marketed as Roadsters both in print ads and brochures. That basically had the same effect on the purist as poking a bear with a big stick. Bottom line, after three pages of responses there are maybe 6 photos of cars.
My car was marketed as a roadster and I always considered an open top two seat car a roadster. Besides I didn't wait 40 years to buy a 2 seat convertible even if that is technically what I bought. Just curious what others here think.
