Mine started quicker and easier too, when I replaced the ORIGINAL battery back in early 2011 - mine is an 05.


Remember than in older cars, the distributor could fire the plugs as soon as the engine started turning. Our cars can't do that, it takes at least two complete revolutions of the crankshaft (which gives you one complete revolution of the camshaft) before the PTCM can calculate where the pistons and valves are -and therefore, know when to fire the plugs.

There is no way around this.
